Year 7

Following on from Key Stage 2 PSHE topics, pupils in year 7 will have a weekly lesson of PSHE, covering a wide range of topics under the themes of Health & Wellbeing, Living in the Wider World and Relationships​​

Many of the topics covered are part of the statutory PSHE requirements as set out by the Department of Education.​

Topics covered in Year 7:​

• Transition to secondary school and personal safety in and outside school, including first aid​
• Careers, teamwork and enterprise skills, and raising aspirations​
• Diversity, prejudice, and bullying​
• Healthy routines, influences on health, puberty, unwanted contact.​
• Saving, borrowing, budgeting and making financial choices​
