A Level Results

Students and staff at Walton High School are celebrating today after receiving news of an excellent set of results.

Approximately 57% of the A Level entries were marked at the very top grades of A*, A and B and this high performance was matched in our vocational level 3 courses where over 90% of students achieved either a Distinction*, a Distinction or a Merit.

Head teacher Neil Finlay commented: “I am really pleased with these impressive results, particularly given the incredibly challenging circumstances of the last two years. Our students deserve great credit for their hard work and dedication and I am grateful to their parents and their teachers for their magnificent support.”

There were some brilliant individual results including Harry Lunt with 4A*s and 1A, James Hurst with 4A*s, Eden Jones and Cian Thomson with 3A*s, Emma Cook with 3A*s and 1A, and Samantha Barnard with 2A*s and 2As.
