A Level Results 2019

Students and staff at Walton High School are celebrating today after receiving news of an excellent set of results.

Almost half of the A Level entries were marked at the very top grades of A*, A and B and this high performance was matched in our vocational level 3 courses where over 50% of students achieved either a Distinction*, a Distinction or a Merit.

Head teacher Neil Finlay commented: “I am really pleased with these impressive results. Our students deserve great credit for their hard work and dedication and I am grateful to their parents and their teachers for their magnificent support. It has been a pleasure watching these young people progress through the school and I look forward to hearing of their successes in the future.”

There were some brilliant individual results including Charlotte Wright with 2A*s and 1A, Megan Cooper with 2A*s and 1A, Adam Jackson with 1A* and 3As, Milly Holland with 1A* and 2As, Alys Moindrot with 1A*, 2As and 1B and Emily Wardle-Pearson with 1 Distinction* and 2As.
